Bears and Cowboys scoreless after 1st qtr.

CHICAGO, Ill. - A total of 102 yards have been gained between the Cowboys and Bears at Soldier Field as both sides remain scoreless after the first quarter.

Chicago ran 11 plays for a total of 20 offensive yards, including -2 on Matt Forte's 4 rushes and 20 passing yards from Jay Cutler, who went 5-of-7 in the opening session. 

Matt Forte and Martellus Bennett have both caught two receptions for 9 yards in the quarter.

The Cowboys (8-4) fared better, gaining 82 yards on 16 plays.

DeMarco Murray rushed 8 times for 36 yards, as Dallas rushes on first-down plays 67 percent of the time this season.

Brandon Marshall converted a 3rd-and-2 to extend the Bears' first drive, begun at their own 7 after a deep Cowboys punt.

Cutler's 3rd-and-8 deep pass for Alshon Jeffery fell incomplete, but their possession was extended when Brandon Carr was flagged for interference against the receiver, putting the Bears at midfield.

Tony Romo is 5-of-6 for 44 yards.

Dallas (8-4) travelled 34 yards on their first possession to open the night. Dez Bryant caught a 16 yard pass from Tony Romo across the middle to get into Bears territory.But Romo was sacked when Willie Young raced around right end and brought the quarterback down in the pocket.
