Habs' Lars Eller out 1-2 weeks

MONTREAL, Qc. - Montreal Canadiens center Lars Eller will sit out of team activities for the next one- to two weeks with an upper body injury, according to the team.

Eller will likely sit out at least one week for rest before resuming on-ice activities the following week, and will return near the end of the month.

The 25-year-old Dane was injured in the Canadiens' defeat to the Chicago Blackhawks last week and missed the team's games at Dallas and against Vancouver as a result.

He has seven goals and 11 points in 28 appearances for Montreal this season. His four game-winning goals are the best mark of any man in hockey.

Sven Andrighetto, a rookie, has replaced Eller, and has two points in two contests, including an assist on Tomas Plekanec's game-clinching score against Vancouver Tuesday night.
