Larry Fitzgerald questionable for Cardinals at Seahawks

Tempe, Az. - Cardinals receiver Larry Fitzgerald, 31, is listed as questionable for this Sunday when Arizona travels to Seattle to face the Seahawks.

Fitzgerald sat out of practice Friday, his third straight day, after suffering a sprained MCL in his left knee in the first half of Arizona's 14-6 victory over Detroit Sunday.

He did return to that game, securing 2 receptions for 33 yards.

Cardinals coach Bruce Arians said Friday that a decision on Fitzgerald would not be made until pre-game warmups, though remained optimistic the star wide-out would play.

"Practice at his age right now is overrated sometimes," Arians said. "We'll see if he can capably play on Sunday."

Should Fitzgerald not play Sunday, Arizona would lean on a three-man combination to replace him: John Brown, Jaron Brown, and Ted Ginn. John Brown has the second-most receptions on the team, behind Fitzgerald, and a team-best 5 touchdown catches.

"The other guys have had a real good week of practice," Arians said of his backups. "and they're more than capable of picking up for him."

Fitzgerald last missed game time in Week 11 of Arizona's 2007 campaign, and since then has appeared in 110 straight games, second-most among active wide receivers.

Arizona, on a six-game win streak, holds the best record in the NFL at 9-1, and a three-game division lead over the reigning Super Bowl champion Seahawks (6-4).
