Flyers and Wild tied 1-1 after two periods

Philadelphia, Pa. - Nino Neiderreiter and Mark Streit both light the lamp as the Wild and Flyers are even at 1-1 after two periods Thursday night.

Neiderreiter took a pass from Marco Sandello from the left circle and snuck it to the right corner at 10:59 after Philly's Andrew McDonald was booked for tripping Mikael Granlund.

The goal, Neiderreiter's 9th on the season, came with 8 seconds left on the man-advantage, and was the 3rd time this year the Wild notched a power-play goal in back-to-back efforts.

Philadelphia (7-8-2) drew even when Mark Streit fired from close range at 14:31. Vincent Lecavalier went to shoot after taking a pass from Wayne Simmonds in stride, but instead found Streit coming open to the left of the net.

Streit flicked it past Darcy Kuemper's right glove for his 3rd of the year.

Darcy Kuemper stopped 26-of-27 for the Wild. Ray Emery faced 13 shots, stopping 12.

Jakub Voracek, the league's points-leader, struck the right post for Philly on an open shot at the 14-minute mark after taking a cross-ice pass from Claude Giroux.

The second period began on a Flyers power-play after Mikko Koivu sat two-minutes for delaying the faceoff when he pushed the puck from center ice with his glove. Philadelphia went 0-for-1 with the advantage.

Minnesota is 2-7-0 all time when playing in Philadelphia, though bring a three-game winning streak to the Wells Fargo Center.
