Browns wide receiver Terrelle Pryor's hopes and dreams of keeping his NFL career alive may be slipping away from him.
Head coach Mike Pettine insinuated as much after Cleveland's practice on Saturday in Berea.
"That window narrows every day that he's not out there," he told Mary Kay Cabot of the Plain Dealer, via Twitter.
Pryor, a natural athlete with tremendous potential, has been sidelined with a hamstring injury and didn't appear in either of the Browns' preseason games. Coming back from that is a tough call for most NFL veterans, but for a former quarterback with little experience re-starting his career at a new position, it's that much harder.
The former Ohio State standout should heed the words of his head coach. If he doesn't get back into the fold sooner rather than later, and make a strong impression straight away, he could find all that promising work he put in during the summer offseason has been for naught.
